It is a fleeting season filled with beauty, wonder, and a love that begins long before you ever hold your baby in your arms. You deserve to remember this time, and we promise you will look and feel beautiful!
The quiet bond you already have with your growing baby is something to be celebrated. As you prepare to welcome your little one and embark your journey of motherhood, we have created an experience to honor you.
Every detail is intentionally designed with you in mind. There’s no need to worry about what to wear- you will have full access to our client wardrobe which is full of beautiful dresses perfect for your bump. Professional hair and makeup can be arranged for you, and you can choose either a studio session or on location around the Main Line.

We typically recommend maternity sessions take place between 28-34 weeks. Because we aim for this particular window of time, it is important to plan ahead to get on our schedule.

First Year Collective
The first year of your baby’s life holds so many memories and milestones. But it can happen in the blink of an eye. One minute they are a tiny newborn and you're learning to navigate motherhood while juggling everything else, and before you know it they are taking their first steps and getting into everything. Let’s document all of those little changes so you don’t miss a thing. This option includes maternity, newborn, 6 months, and first birthday so every milestone in between is captured.

signature session
Session fee $300
Family portraits don’t just capture a single moment of time. They hold the memories of an entire season of life. Looking back on photos reminds you of more than just the day you took pictures. You think back to what your children were like at that age and are reminded of funny moments or sweet memories that happened during that time of life. The Signature Sessions are designed to capture this season of life with your family.

Simplicity session
Session fee $200
They change so much in the first year and you want to document all those big milestones and little details. The Simplicity Sessions are designed to catch those unique stages. These sessions are 20 minutes long and offered only in the studio during weekday mornings.

I cannot say enough great things about Valerie Marie Photography. From start to finish it was an unbelievable experience!! We did a maternity photoshoot. As any pregnant woman knows, it’s hard to feel your best, especially the thought of getting in front of the camera. All of those thoughts disappear as soon as I entered Valerie’s adorable studio. From hair and makeup by a celebrity stylist, to a beautiful wardrobe, your confidence truly is able to shine through. Valerie’s vision for the shoot was everything I hoped for and more. Being able to incorporate my husband and daughter was so special. Not to mention, Val is incredible with children, so the shoot with my 2 year old went way better than I had anticipated. I encourage and pregnant woman to do this shoot. What an amazing experience and seeing how beautiful the human body is- is a gift in itself.
